Fun fact: This was the draft logo of Layag Travel Agency before it finalized its logo. The ship represents the client's layag or sailing in journeying the world illustrated by the globe behind it.

Layag Travel Agency was established in 2021 by the four owners (Louise Margarette V. Costes, Jasmine Elaiza R. Paneda, Christine Joy F. Panglao, and Franchette Joyce S. Paynor) that shares the same course, which is Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and interest in traveling. They started brainstorming and joking about having a travel agency one day that can fulfill the disappointment they have in their experience in other travel agencies they’ve tried. The business started from commission rates wherein they arrange the itinerary of their friends and family at a low price. They slowly incorporated processing of documents, such as visas, in their services that boomed at that moment. With the expanding market they have, they created tour packages within the country at an affordable price range.
