Some can relate to this.
Others can't believe it is true.
Pero sa totoo lang, I don't feel the need to explain myself except maybe to clarify some things. Besides, there is no need to justify your actions unless gumawa ka ng masama (sa pulis ka mag-explain!)
Remember that we have different priorities and motivators in life.
Someone who is earning 6-figures can easily decline a $5/hour offer.
But that $5/hr rate can signify financial freedom to others.
And I understand people who can't fathom the idea kung sinong tao ang mag walk-away sa 500k na sweldo monthly. They can't imagine it.
But I know a few people can.
Because in the current season of their life, money is not their main motivator.
Maybe it is their family.
Maybe it is their health.
Maybe it is their mental well-being.
Pera din ang motivator ko for the longest time.
HOW MUCH INCOME DO YOU NEED TO LIVE A COMFORTABLE LIFESTYLE?
It is part of my exit strategy.
The next question would be: how much income do you need to sustain the lifestyle you want?
Anong mga expenses mo monthly/quarterly/yearly?
And you have to base your calculations sa lifestyle na gusto mo.
For example: Monthly expenses
Grocery - Php 20,000
Electricity - Php 10,000
School fees - Php 100,000
Monthly car payment - Php 35,000
Monthly petrol and toll - Php 5,000
Savings: Php 20,000
Life Insurance: Php 5,000
etc...
Or baka kailangan mo ng 600k monthly to sustain the lifestyle you want.
Doing this exercise is an eye-opener.
You have a clearer idea of how much you need to earn.
Knowing the numbers might motivate you,
Pero baka ma-depress ka din.
But knowledge is power.
And having clarity is one of the key things you need to practice to manifest any goal.
Do your own calculations and get back to me how much income you need to live the lifestyle that you want. Go!
