First Place: Barangay Campaasan (₱ 50, 000.00 worth of project & ₱ 15, 000.00 cash)

Second Place: Barangay Poblacion (₱ 40, 000.00 worth of project & ₱ 10, 000.00 cash)

Third Place: Barangay Cambunang (₱ 28, 000.00 worth of project & ₱ 7, 000.00 cash)

Congratulations also to the other participating barangays which will receive ₱ 15, 000.00 worth of project & ₱ 5, 000.00 cash

Oriental Mindoro's Tourism industry in numbers ✨

September was a mix of rain and sunshine, yet, we still garnered a whopping 250 million pesos in tourism receipts!

This came from the recorded 20,745 tourist arrivals last month -- 75% of which were local tourists and 25% were foreign guests.

As tourism continues to be one of Oriental Mindoro's main economic drivers, these figures represent the impact of our province's one of a kind tourist destinations and its demand in the local and foreign markets.

This also highlights the collaborative efforts of our hardworking tourism frontliners, quality service and tourism facilities which we offer to our guests that make them want to stay more.
