On a regular day at PTF, we feed our pigs with freshly-cut ramie grass and other foliage directly sourced from our farm.
Their feed ingredient consists of finely chopped and cooked cassava, papaya, gabi, corn, ricebran and malunggay (or whatever crop is available and in season). We also add their feeds a dose of fish amino acid.
A healthy pig is valuable for its meat when prepared as a lechon, ham, bacon, or pork for other dishes!
