The BSTM 3rd year students and faculty kicked off their exciting educational tour in Baguio City with an engaging and insightful seminar on Hotel Operations and Tour Guiding, tailored to the major subjects ๐Ÿจ๐ŸŽค

The objective of the seminar is to provide the students with a deeper understanding of the key principles and best practices in the hospitality and tourism industry. From the intricacies of hotel operations to the art of tour guiding, the students were immersed in the world of tourism that is both practical and inspiring.

The session aimed to equip future professionals with essential skills and knowledge that will shape their careers in the tourism and hospitality sectors. With real-world examples and expert speakers, the students were able to expand their horizons and prepare for the challenges and opportunities in the industry.

And with that, under the administration of former Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Proclamation No. 1906, Series of 2009 was issued as a declaration of commemmoration of the hardworks of our indigenous people that was being celebrated every October.

Today mark the 27th IPRA Commemoration of National Indigenous People following with the theme "๐™ผ๐š๐šŠ ๐™บ๐šŠ๐š๐šž๐š๐šž๐š‹๐š˜ ๐šŠ๐š ๐™บ๐šŠ๐š๐šž๐š๐šž๐š‹๐š˜๐š—๐š ๐™ณ๐šž๐š—๐š˜๐š—๐š: ๐™ฟ๐šŠ๐š‘๐šŠ๐š•๐šŠ๐š๐šŠ๐š‘๐šŠ๐š—, ๐™ฟ๐šŠ๐š—๐š๐šŠ๐š•๐šŠ๐š๐šŠ๐šŠ๐š— ๐šŠ๐š ๐™ฟ๐šŠ๐š›๐šŠ๐š—๐š๐šŠ๐š•๐šŠ๐š—" or โ€œValuing, Nurturing, and Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Knowledge.โ€ Thus, the celebration solely wanted us to be reminded that our indigenous people are part of the richness of the culture we boast upon other countries now and that they should be protected. Truly, our teachers are the molder of our future leaders and the future of our community. We extend our salute and genuine appreciation to our educators, molders of our future and the community's well-being, the facilitators of our growth and development, the people behind the success of each inspiring story, the makers and changers of our future selves. Your efforts are appreciated even on the days the calendar isn't recognizing it, even during the seasons that you're outside the four corners of the room and during times when you're just being yourself, in comfortable clothes with your favorite drink.

As we begin celebrating the month of our academic mother/father figures, let us take this as a chance for us to send our love and gratitude to our present teachers, current advisers and future educators. Just by simply sending them your greetings, even if it's not Teacher's month or day, will always be regarded as a special one for them.
