To our brothers and sisters in Bicol,
Our hearts break with yours as we witness the devastation brought by Typhoon Kristine. The flooding, the loss of homes, and the challenges you are facing weigh heavily on all of us. It is hard to imagine the pain of seeing your homes and livelihoods torn apart, but know this you are not alone.
In times of tragedy, the Filipino spirit shines brightest. We may be tested by the fiercest storms, but our resilience, compassion, and strength hold us together. Thousands of families have been affected, and while the path ahead may seem uncertain, there is hope in knowing that we, as a nation, are rallying behind you.
Please take heart in the kindness and generosity of those around you whether it be from neighbors, volunteers, or fellow Filipinos far and wide. Together, we will rebuild. Together, we will rise from this stronger than before.
No storm can break the bonds of our shared humanity. Let us hold on to hope, and keep faith that better days will come. We are with you every step of the way.
