Foreign visitors can now save some extra bucks on their next trip to Japan with a new promotion from Japan Airlines.
Announced on Sep 10, the Japanese carrier is currently offering free domestic flights to "explore more of Japan" when people book an international flight into the country, the airline stated in a press release.
To take advantage of the offer, customers must book both a JAL return international flight and a matching domestic flight within the same reservation.
For travellers from the U.S., there will be the normal $100 stopover fee if they choose to stay in their first Japanese destination for over 24 hours. However, the fee is waived for travellers from Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, India and Taiwan.
There is currently no announced "end date" for the promotion
