OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE ALLEGED HEALTH CONCERNS LINKED TO CAGWAIT WHITE BEACH

In reference to the post made on Facebook by Ms. San Pedro on October 29, 2024, regarding health concerns allegedly linked to the Cagwait White Beach area, the Local Government Unit of Cagwait is currently conducting an investigation to verify the validity of this claim.

For the safety of the general public, LGU Cagwait regularly conducts water sampling in coordination with the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) to ensure that beach conditions do not compromise the health and safety of visitors.

Additionally, despite the significant number of beachgoers each month, no official complaints have been received on this matter to date.

Rest assured, the welfare of our community and visitors remains our highest priority.
