๐ The global architecture and construction industry is projected to grow beyond USD 10 trillion by 2030, fueled by the rising demand for sustainable cities, climate-resilient structures, and smart infrastructure. Architects are at the core of this transformation โ blending creativity, engineering, and technology to design for people and the planet.
๐๏ธ In the Philippines, the architecture and construction sectors continue to grow due to rapid urbanization, housing demand, and infrastructure programs like Build Better More. Licensed architects are in demand for both local projects and overseas employment, especially those with strong foundations in design thinking and digital tools like CAD and BIM.
๐ However, only around 50 to 60 percent of examinees pass the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), based on recent reports from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). This highlights the importance of rigorous training and mentorship in architecture education.
๐ The Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Divine Word College of Calapan is committed to developing professionals who are not only skilled in design and construction, but also grounded in ethics, culture, and sustainability. DWCC Architecture students are actively engaged in both academic and national initiatives, preparing them for meaningful careers in the built environment.

The DWCC Architecture community is proud to have an active chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA). UAPSA is the official student arm of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), the national accredited professional organization for architects.
Through UAPSA DWCC, students participate in nationwide architecture events, seminars, and design competitions. Every year, DWCC students join and contribute to the Philippine Architecture Month celebration, gaining exposure to real-world trends, professional networks, and industry innovations.

BS Architecture is a five-year program that integrates art, science, and technology to train students in the planning, design, and construction of buildings and environments that are safe, functional, sustainable, and visually impactful.
