Difference of REBOOK and NEW BOOKING?

Answer:
REBOOK, can be done only on the same airline cannot be transferred to other airlines.

How to make a rebooking?
Answer:
Passenger can rebook as long as the passenger is willing to pay REBOOKING FEE and FARE DIFFERENCE.

FREE REBOOK if there are Minor changes or cancelled by the airline itself

NEW BOOKING, Passenger can book to any any airlines of his/her choice. If the passenger has booked a flight and realized that he does not like the airline, he can make a NEW BOOKING to other airlines.

If your flight is active/confirmed and no changes, passenger can rebook, change DATE only not change of airline.

What is REROUTE?

Reroute is to change your destination, not change of airline. Unfortunately this is not applicable anymore.

Madami po nagtatanong kahit mga self booking.
Literal ba talaga ang PAL mag select ng NEW DATE/SCHEDULE kapag mag cancel sila ng flight?

Yes na yes, not only PAL but also with other airlines.
Even there's no approval of PASSENGER automatic po nila i-move ng ibang Date, no worry naman ng ganyan, accessible naman for REBOOKING anytime if ever gusto mo ipa rebook, kung di mo naman gusto ang new date na binigay nila, pwedeng pwede mo ipa refund as long as the airline cancelled the original flight date you booked.
