Kalibo (KLO) is Visayas' 2nd official international airport est. in 2006-2007 after Mactan-Cebu and it is also Western Visayas' First to handle international flights.

There are only eight (8) airports in the Philippines that has international flights as of April 06, 2023. ●

There are eight (8) in the list classified as official international airports : Laoag, Clark, Manila, Cebu, Kalibo, Puerto Princesa, Davao and Iloilo. Among this 8 airports only Laoag and Iloilo does not have international flights.

Known as international but classified as principal airports: Bohol, Zamboanga, Subic, General Santos and Bicol, however among these airports only Bohol-Panglao able to sustain international flights.

Known as Domestic Airport but they allow seasonal chartered flights: Caticlan.
