FYI...

Hindi muna pinapayagan ang non-essential travel sa mga lugar sa lalawigan ng Batangas bunsod ng pagtaas ng aktibidad ng Bulkang Taal, ayon sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Batangas Provincial Office.

Inabisuhan ng DILG Batangas ang publiko na hindi muna maaaring bumiyahe sa lalawigan partikular sa mga high-risk areas sa paligid ng Bulkang Taal kung ito ay non-essential.

Ito ay matapos itaas ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology ang estado ng Bulkang Taal dahil sa naganap na phreatomagmatic eruption nitong Huwebes.

Naglabas din ng kautusan ang DILG-4A sa mga provincial at city directors nito na maglabas ng kaparehas na abiso na nanghihikayat sa mga lokal na pamahalaan upang magpatupad ng non-essential travel restriction patungong Batangas.

Ito ay alinsunod na rin sa rekomendasyon ng Calabarzon Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC).

Samantala, nilinaw naman ng DILG Batangas na maaari pa ring bumiyhe ang mga nais magpaabot ng donasyon sa lalawigan ngunit kinakailangan nitong makipag-ugnayan sa itinalagang donation hub.

“Ang mga donasyon at ibang assistance galing sa labas ng probinsya ng Batangas ay dapat na ipagbigay-alam o makipag-ugnayan sa mga kagawaran ng gobyerno at hindi direkta sa mga evacuation centers para maiwasan ang mass gathering at posibleng paglabag sa minimum public health standards,” ayon sa public advisory na inilabas ng DILG Batangas.
