Mabuhay!

The Calbayog City Tourism Office would like to say THANK YOU to BFP-Calbayog through FCINSP Tereso Tuazon, the Acting City Fire Marshall and the Officials of Barangay Tinaplacan through Punong Barangay Virginia Paghubasan for their help in cleaning up the access road leading to Bangon Falls in Barangay Tinaplacan.

Both Bangon Falls and Tarangban Falls were closed to guests last December due to thick moss and mud brought about by incessant rains which in turn caused mud and rocks slide at the access road.

With the cleanup complete, we will soon give an Advisory on the reopening of these two popular tour sites of Calbayog.

This Temporary Closure is for the safety of everyone. This is due to the land / rockslide and mud on the access road brought about by the rain in the past few days.

We will give an advisory the moment we are ready to safely welcome you back.

Keep safe everyone!
