PAL offers a check-through amenity, a one-stop check-in for passengers originating from any PAL station with connecting flight to any PAL destination.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, transit restrictions have been implemented. Immediate connecting flights for international to international and international to domestic routes are not allowed. Only domestic to international and domestic to domestic routes are allowed at this time.
Passengers are subject to screening and completed requirements for their domestic or international onward flights.
Passengers are reminded to accomplish the following for their onward flights:
For Domestic onward flights, passengers must register to the Passenger Profile and Health Declaration (PPHD) Form as early as 5 days before departure via https://bit.ly/PALDomPPHD.
For International onward flights, passengers must register to the PAL Passenger Profile and Health declaration form as early as 5 days before departure via https://bit.ly/PALIntPPHD.
Download the Traze App on your mobile device. As mandated by the Philippine Department of Transportation, all passengers must have the Traze app to generate and scan their QR code when entering in, boarding from, or upon arriving in all Philippine airports. Click here to know more about Traze.
Passengers with existing bookings may rebook their onward Domestic flight to at least 6 days after their arrival in the Philippines to accommodate their scheduled swab test and release of results. Rebooking terms and conditions apply.
For passengers making future bookings, they may book their onward Domestic flight at least 6 days after their arrival in the Philippines to accommodate their scheduled swab test and release of test results.

If you have a connecting flight with another airline, please ensure to contact or check their website for any requirements before you continue with your trip.
Each flight ticket has its own Free Baggage Allowance policy. This FBA entitlement is valid only on that specific flight and may not necessarily apply to your connecting flights. PAL or other carriers may require you to pay excess baggage fees if your FBA entitlement is lower on your connecting flights.
Important: Minimum connecting time depends on what carrier/terminal the passenger is arriving and the carrier/terminal where the passenger is connecting or departing.
Baggage Clearance: For connecting flight involving different terminals (in Manila), due to facility limitation and CIQ requirements, tagging the baggage all the way to final destination may not be allowed. Passengers may need to claim their baggage and clear with Customs upon arrival.
