Paradise Beach, also known as Sandira Beach, is a secluded and tranquil beach located on Bantayan Island, Cebu, in the Philippines. It is situated on the west coast of the island, approximately 10 kilometers from Santa Fe town.
This stunning beach is known for its white sand, crystal-clear water, palm trees, rock formations, and vibrant coral reefs.
The beach is a perfect setting for relaxation and sunbathing, away from any foot traffic.
It is also a great spot for swimming, with its clear waters and gently sloping sandbed. The beach is surrounded by small beach caves and tall coconut palm trees, adding to its natural beauty.
Paradise Beach is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily, and the entry fee is 50 pesos for adults and 25 pesos for children.
There is no food or drink available at the beach, so visitors are advised to bring their own.
To reach Paradise Beach, you can take a bus, van, or private car from Cebu City to Hagnaya Port, which takes around 3-4 hours. From Hagnaya Port, you'll then need to take a ferry to Santa Fe Port on Bantayan Island, which takes approximately 1 hour.
Once you arrive in Santa Fe, Paradise Beach is about a 15-minute drive or a 45-minute walk.
You can get there on a motorbike or by pump boat. If you plan to take a lot of gear, a cooler, and small children, it’s probably easier to go via pump boat.

Loy Krathong, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated throughout Thailand, but it holds particular significance in Chiang Mai, Ayutthaya, and Sukhothai. The festival typically falls on the full moon night of the 12th lunar month. Loy Krathong is a time to pay respect to the water spirits, seek forgiveness, and let go of negativity by floating krathongs, small lotus-shaped rafts, onto rivers, lakes, and canals. These krathongs are traditionally made from banana stems, leaves, and decorated with flowers, candles, and incense sticks.

As night falls, thousands of lanterns are released into the sky, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.
