We can find beaches in almost every color of the rainbow, from pristine white sands to chic pink shores but there is something alluring and mysteriously beautiful about black sand beaches.

Punta Negra ("punta" because of its natural shape and "negra" because of its sparkling black sand) provides just as much beauty and calmness. The stunning shoreline boasts a photogenic seascape. This beach will take our breath away with the fertile hillside and sparkling black sand with .0001 gold content due to its natural gold deposits within the area.

“Ang kape palan pig yelohan na” ... the first reaction from a barrio folk when La Isabella Tazza opened in May 25, 2011.

La Isabella Tazza pioneered coffee shop business in Caramoan serving Caramoan Coffee, Iced Barako, Hot Choco, Cafe Isabella and the famous “pancit bato”.

The coffee shop was named after Ma. Isabella Andrea - the eldest daughter of the owner.

We are planning to reopen the establishment in 2021 at its new site in Barangay Terogo, Caramoan, Camarines Sur.

MEMORIES OF CARAMOAN

Built in 1898, this 111 year-old house served as a private residence to the Borja - Arevalo Family. Known as the oldest ancestral house in the area, it exhibits the traditional Filipino - Spanish design and architecture.

Location

The Borja's Ancestral House is located in Solnopan, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. From the town proper, the house lies at the right side. You can reach the place by riding a tricycle or by merely walking. It's just stone's throw away from Caramoan town proper.

About the Owner

The Borja's Ancestral House is the home of Espiritu Borja and Josefina Arevalo. Espiritu or "Pay Pitong" as he is fondly called by his colleagues, is a farmer, a World War II veteran and served as Municipal Treasurer of Caramoan during his time. Josefina or "May Pining" is a dedicated housewife and mother to five children, namely: Rolando, Letecia, Nenita, Francisco and Monina.

To date, this ancestral house is a home to the 3rd generation of Borja's family.

CARAMOAN is a jewel in this country waiting to be brought up to its full light of development and prosperity. We still have plenty of goals to achieve in line with tourism awareness, conciousness, culture reinforcement, training and legislation. All these moves to empower tourism will definitely contribute to the economic progress of this town.

Being a Caramoanon "by heart" (born in Caramoan, parents are from Caramoan and a voter of Caramoan), I want to extend my warmest greetings to the wonderful people of the "Philippines Secret Paradise". I am confident that with the people's cooperation and steadfast commitment, we will come out unified and strong to bring Caramoan to a "higher level".
