On our way back from our Isla Gigantes tour last January 31 2016 from Gigantes to Carles Port, we saw thousands of birds in the sea. I thought it was a magical sight, however when we looked down on the water from our boat, we saw a few dead fishes floating. Just a few meters away were boats getting the fishes. Sad, I realized this was a site where they just did some dynamite fishing, hence the dead fishes floating and the thousands of birds surrounding it because they want to get some dead fish too :( To the local government and to Iloilo tourism, I hope we can find a solution to end this. Isla Gigantes and Carles is so beautiful and let's find a way to stop dynamite fishing, promote sustainable fishing instead and help protect our marine life in northern Iloilo
