LIBRE pong manood ang ating mga kababayang Cavintiin sa event na ito - magdala lamang po ng valid ID na may address sa Cavinti.

Para sa mga mahilig sa thrill ay pwede rin pong sumakay sa Hot Air Balloon Display 4pm - 7 pm sa halagang Php 2k per head.

Guidelines and Mechanics:

A. Date/Time and Venue

August 2, 2024 – Friday @ 10AM onwards
Covered Plaza Cavinti

B. Fruits and Vegetables Carving Competition Mechanics:

1. The contestants must be 16 and above years of age and must be a resident of Cavinti.
2. The competition is composed of individuals who is knowledgeable and skilled for the competition (can be out of school youth or student from cookery or culinary school).
3. The contestants must fill out the registration form and submitted on time to the Tourism Office together with the copy of Birth Certificate and Valid IDs.
4. The competition will entertain 12 entries coming from Cavinti. Each contestant is expected to have 3 entries.
5. The contestant will come in chef uniform with hairnet and apron.
6. Each entry is required to bring their own:
- Fruits and Vegetables ( provided by LGU)
Pakwan
Papaya
Melon
Pinya
Patatas
- Carving tools
- Cutting Board
- Wooden Sticks and toothpicks
- Dinner plate or trays for Display
7. No pre – slicing, carving on preparation of fruits and vegetables before the competition. The organizers will check the materials before the start of the competition. All carving, assembling, peeling and cutting shall be done during the actual competition day.
8. Only toothpicks and barbecue sticks are allowed to be used. Wire, glues and NO power tools allowed.
9. No coaches shall be allowed to enter the competition area during the competition.
10. The Competition will allot two (2) hours to produce and display their craft. Going beyond the allotted time will be deducted from the score.
11. There will be a two (2) Special Awards to be announced during the awarding ceremony.
12. The competition shall be judged by three (3) judges. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
13. The winners will receive:

First Place P3,000.00 + Trophy
Second Place P2,000.00 + Trophy
Third Place P1,000.00 + Trophy
Consolation Prizes P500

Creativity and Originality - 30%

Craftmanship/Artistic - 20%

Use of Color and Contrast - 10%

Cleanliness - 10%
