They seem to be laughing, most are stoic, a few look monstrous but they all have their own unique expressions and local color. Some look like Balinese Royalty with gilded crowns and headpieces, some are made of plain wood bare and no decorations. These are masks from all over Asia that decorate the walls of JAVA Lakeside Bed & Breakfast. Come and spend a relaxing time...our masks are waiting for you! As Margie T Logarta wrote “With good friends, the world is a wonderful place!”. Our merry gang of four spent a weekend in this serene lakeside house and enjoyed Rumah Java lakeside b&b. Thank you to b&b hosts Rene & Taffy Santiago for creating this haven. We swam and took a dip in the pool, went kayaking on the lake, ate and shared stories and even hatched a potential group vlog (wait for the launch!). We are looking forward to our April plan of an overnight stay in JAVA Lakeside B&B. We will surely enjoy the change of scene from the polluted Metro to the fresh n cool lakeside breeze of Caliraya! We plan to eat lunch in Aling Taleng’s in Pagsanjan, visit the Japanese garden, perhaps order pizza or have dinner in Soloviento or just CHILL! If we muster enough courage n energy, perhaps trek and go to Cavinti Falls. Btw, the photo below was not taken in Lake Caliraya but this is very close to the scenery (confession: this was taken in a friend’s fish farm in Iloilo).
