“Due to the rapid increase in the number of visitors from the Philippines, examination of visa applications for tourism purposes, may take several weeks longer than the standard processing time. Therefore, we highly recommend for applicants to please apply at least two months prior to the date of travel” - the embassy’s website read

Our Agency’s Remarks:
In light of this change, we strongly recommend that all Japan visa applicants plan ahead and submit their visa applications at least 3 months prior to their scheduled departure dates. This will ensure ample time for processing and help avoid any potential travel disruptions.
