CEB Advisory #2: CEB Flight Cancellations – July 31 to August 20, 2021

As of 9:30PM, July 30, 2021

The Philippine government, through the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 130-A, has placed the NCR Plus Area under a more stringent General Community Quarantine with Heightened Restrictions (GCQ-HR) from July 30 to August 5, 2021, and on a two-week Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 until August 20, 2021.

Only essential travel will be allowed beginning today, July 30, until August 20, 2021.

As such, CEB has cancelled some of its domestic flights from July 31 to August 5, 2021.

Affected passengers are being informed via contact details provided in their bookings. They may select their preferred option (Unlimited rebooking, 2-year Travel Fund, or Refund), until 30 days from date of departure, through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight).

Are you fully vaccinated?
You can now use your Vaccination card as your passport to travel within the Philippines!

The national Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has allowed fully vaccinated individuals to travel around the Philippines without having to present a negative test result.

This was announced by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in a press conference today, July 4, 2021.

Under IATF Resolution No. 124-B:

✅ Fully vaccinated persons are allowed to present a domestic vaccination card or certificate of quarantine completion as a sufficient requirement for interzonal travel instead of a negative test result.

✅ Fully vaccinated Senior Citizens are allowed to travel intrazonal or under GCQ and MGCQ areas.

❗ Fully vaccinated individuals who are close contacts of probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases, they may undergo a shortened seven (7)-day quarantine period, provided that the individual remains asymptomatic for the duration of the seven-day period with the first day being the date immediately after the last exposure.

📌 Provided that vaccination cards must be duly signed and issued by a legitimate vaccinating establishment or LGU.

NOTE: The national IATF resolution considers persons as fully vaccinated two weeks after having received their final doses of any vaccine given emergency use authorization by the Philippines' Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization.

Kung ang address niyo naman po na nakasulat sa valid ID ay yong address kung saan kayo uuwi(CARAGA province address)- AGUSAN DEL SUR, AGUSAN DEL NORTE, SURIGAO DEL SUR, SURIGAO DEL NORTE, DINAGAT ISLAND and SIARGAO, no need na po kumuha ng barangay acceptance certification.

Sa pangunguna ng Manila Health Department (MHD), 100 na katao ang sasailalim sa naturang swab testing kada araw.

Highlights:

🟣Strict compliance to minimum public health standards, not limited to wearing of face mask, face shield, and physical distancing, is required;

🟣Online Registration through the link of the Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) at forms.gle/gyFAYKrKidXAWGFq8 to generate the Travel Confirmation Pass to be presented upon entry;

🟣To ALL RESIDENT and APOR Travelers, proceed to the Travel Management Desk for health and exposure assessment and issuance of QR CODE (one-time issue);

🟣To ALL NON-RESIDENT and APOR Travelers, register to Puerto Galera Tourist Registration Application and provide the necessary details and documentary requirements;

🟣To ALL NON-RESIDENT and APOR Travelers, there is NO AGE LIMIT. Ages fifteen (15) years old and below are required to travel with parents/guardian;

🟣To ALL NON-RESIDENT and APOR, required to have a confirmed booking from any accommodation establishments with Certificate of Authority to Operate;

🟣To ALL NON-RESIDENT and APOR, proceed to the Travel Management Desk for health and exposure assessment and QR CODE scanning, and pay an Environmental Fee of Php120.00.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS for reference only.

Q: Why is the promo for 80 pesos or 80 php or 25 php fare, but the tickets are still 500-1000 php?

A: 1 php or 80 php, or 25 php is BASE fare only. Airlines still has added charges, like ADMIN FEE, FUEL SURCHAGES, and TAX and SERVICE Fees. You can see all the charges in the receipt given to the passenger.

Q: What are the requirements when traveling?

A: We can give you the requirements that we can see on airlines websites but that is not real time. The best is to ask LGU where you are going. Because we just book and we are not IATF.

Q: Need pa ba magpa-swab test?
A: Again, contact you respective LGU of destination.

Q: What if ma-cancel yung flight?
A: Two options are available there: REFUND OR REBOOK. The refund will take 10 months before I get it based on my experience. There is no payment in the rebook, you will just pay for the fare difference.

Q: Is there an entrance fee at the airport?
A: Everyone can go to the airport. But not everyone is allowed inside. As long as there is confirmed ticket and request, you will be able to enter.

Q: Until when is the promo?
A: We don't know that. The promo has limited seats and especially now that only limited capacity can ride. So if the ticket goes down to 1500, book it now.

Q: Can a minor travel?
A: 12-17 years old above po ay considered adult na, pero need pa rin ang parent consent. below 12 years, need talaga ng presence ng adult. Pero case to case basis yan.
