The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) is set to inaugurate a parallel runway to its main airstrip on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

MCIA General Manager Julius Neri Jr. told reporters before the official ceremony that the over P2-billion runway will boost the airport’s capacity, allowing it to accommodate more domestic and international flights.

The new 2,560-meter-long, 45-meter-wide runway is expected to enhance operational efficiency and improve flight handling capabilities at MCIA. | via DPC

Thank you to all who continue to join and trust our Sinulog Fluvial Procession.

We are truly grateful for your patience, understanding and consideration with the very early pick up times, the bumps and rough seas (but ‘‘twas fun right?!) and the traffic going back home. What a joy to have the sunny skies, good weather and prayerful devotees united as one big family.

Thru it all, Senor Santo Niño beckons to us to follow Him and deepen our faith. His love for us is a constant source of strength.
