After a well rested night, we took a morning excursion to Laguna Cejar and before getting there we stopped at a town Toconao to visit the church and fortunately to witness the town's celebration of Chile's Independence Day. Then in the afternoon we went to Valle de la Luna to explore the place and to experience the sunset at the valley.

We stopped at this Mirador Valle de la Luna for a rest and enjoy the scenery before getting to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.
