New Cebu-Baguio service to commence on December 16

Good news for our passengers!

Beginning December 16, 2022, PAL will offer direct flights between Cebu and Baguio City.

This new route will allow hassle-free travel to the City of Pines from the Queen City of the South, and vice versa, in just two hours.

From December 16, PAL's Cebu-Baguio-Cebu flights will operate four times weekly with convenient morning departures, as follows:

· PR 2230 Cebu-Baguio - every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
- departing Mactan Cebu at 08:50 AM, arriving at Baguio Loakan Airport at 10:50 AM
· PR 2231 Baguio-Cebu - every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
- departing at Baguio at 11:10 AM, arriving in Cebu at 01:00 PM

Known as the 'Summer Capital of the Philippines' for its year-round cool climate and breathtaking location 1,400 meters above sea level, Baguio is your destination for tourist holidays. The City of Pines is also a business hub that hosts the Baguio City Economic Zone.

A Total Lunar Eclipse will occur tonight and it will be visible in the Philippines. This eclipse is also visible in different parts of the world where the Moon is above the horizon including Asia, Australia, North America, Parts of Northern and Eastern Europe, and most of South America.

On 08 November in Manila, the eclipse will begin at 05:19 PM (moonrise), with the totality of the eclipse beginning at 06:16 PM. Greatest eclipse (maximum) or the peak stage of the eclipse at 06:59 PM. The Moon will remain in totality until 07:42 PM. It will then go into a partial eclipse until 08:49 PM and comes to an end at 09:58 PM.

The PAGASA Astronomical Observatory will live stream this event via the PAGASA Official page and PAGASA YouTube channel.
