NOV 11 CAIRO (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel, starting your tour in OLD CAIRO for visit at the HANGING CHURCH and COPTIC CHURCH where it is believed the HOLY FAMILY stayed after fleeing from Bethlehem for fear of Herod’s order of slaughtering infants under 3 years. Lunch en-route. Visit to Papyrus Factory to discover how the first paper was made during the ancient time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

NOV 12 CAIRO (B/L/D)
Hotel Breakfast. This full city tour includes visit, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Great Pyramids, and Sphinx. Lunch en-route. Then visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the finest displays of artifacts, relics, statues and jewellers from all of the Pharaohs Reigns, also the riches with remarkable Museums in the World. Then on Dinner cruise and be entertained by the Belly Dancer and enjoy watching the skilled "Men in Skirt" rendering his piece. Back to the hotel in Cairo for overnight.

Early morning departure from Cairo with boxed breakfast. Drive towards St. Catherine passing by Moses Springs and the Suez Canal. Lunch en-route then afternoon climb to Mt. Sinai. Continue to drive to the hotel in Dahab.

NOV 14 DAHAB – TABA – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Have hotel breakfast and check out. Transfer to Taba border for crossing into Israel. After the inspections and other regulatory procedures, meet the local guide. Drive to the local restaurant for lunch and then go directly to the hotel in Bethlehem.

NOV 15 BETHLEHEM – JERUSALEM – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
After breakfast, a full day tour starts at Shepherd’s Field then Mount of Olives to visit the Ascension Chapel. Then to the Church of Pater Noster to witness the “Lord’s Prayer” Proceed to the Church of Dominus Flevit where God wept over Jerusalem. Continue by walking down Palm Sunday Road going to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane to see the Rock of Agony, the place where Jesus prayed before the Roman soldiers came for Him. Proceed to the Church of Nativity. Visit the Basilica and Grotto of the Nativity and the Manger Square.

NOV 16 BETHLEHEM – JERUSALEM – JERICHO – BETHLEHEM (B/L/D)
Breakfast, you will be visiting St. Anne’s Church, Bethesda Pool, Wailing Wall, Via Dolorosa and go through the Stations of the Cross to the Holy Sepulchre where Jesus was crucified, died and rose from the dead. We will visit Mt. Zion, the Upper room, David’s Tomb and the Dormition Abbey. We will drive to the oldest city in the world, Jericho, for a view of Mount of Temptation and Sycamore Tree. Proceed to Qumran, the caves of the essences where Dead Sea Scrolls were found by a wandering shepherd boy. Visit the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Swim and relax at the Dead Sea beach. Drive back to Bethlehem.

NOV 17 BETHLEHEM - HAIFA - NAZARETH - CANA - TIBERIAS (B/L/D)
Hotel Breakfast and check out. Visit the Basilica of Mt. Carmel. Drive by Caesarea to catch the sight of the Aqueducts. This is where St. Paul was imprisoned. Then, we will drive to Nazareth, the city of Jesus' childhood and youth; Visit the Church of Annunciation where we can find the original cave where angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would bear a child by the Holy Spirit. Also visit Joseph's workshop where Jesus spent most of his childhood days. Drive on to the village of Cana, where Jesus performed the Miracle of changing water into wine at the wedding ceremony. Visit Cana Church where you will hold your private mass and celebrate the renewal of vows. Then dinner.

NOV 18 TIBERIAS - SEA OF GALILEE - TIBERIAS (B/L/D)
Breakfast at a hotel. Will start the morning at Mt. Tabor to see the Basilica of Transfiguration. Will continue the tour with a Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee then drive to Capernaum, the town where Jesus made His home after leaving Nazareth. View the remains of the ancient Synagogue in which He taught, and on to Tabgha, where the Miracle of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes took place. Drive to Mount of Beatitudes, this is the site of the Sermon on the Mount and St. Peter’s Primacy Church, See the remains of St. Peter’s House. Visit and renew your baptism at Yardenit (Jordan River) where St. John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ.

NOV 19 TIBERIAS – AMMAN (B/L/D)
After breakfast and check out, drive from Tiberias to the border. After the inspections, other regulatory procedures and meeting our staff you will be transferred to Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died. Then proceed to Madaba to visit the Monastery of St. George, which hosts the unique mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan and Holyland. The map is believed to be the first one for this area, as it was built in the 6th century. Dinner and Overnight: at hotel in Amman

NOV 20 AMMAN–PETRA–AMMAN (B/L/D)
Breakfast at a hotel. Morning proceeds to the lost city of Petra with an optional horseback ride through the picturesque SIQ and visit the Treasury. Petra is a Greek word which means Stone. This city was built in the 6th century, the home of Nabataeans. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage since 1985 and the most visited tourist attraction in the country. Transfer back to Amman in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

NOV 21 DEPARTURE AMMAN–MANILA (B/L/D)
Breakfast inside the hotel, rest of the day free for last minute shopping till your transfer to your lunch venue. Afterwards, transfer to Amman Airport for departure back to Manila. Arrived in Manila from a very memorable and enjoyable trip.

Immigration Canada’s backlog grows to 1.84 million
As of mid-March, IRCC reports a backlog of 1,844,424 persons across all lines of business.

IRCC reports there are 1.84 million people waiting on decisions in its inventory as of mid-March.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) provided its latest inventory data to CIC News through a media request. The inventory comprises applications submitted by future Canadian citizens, permanent residents, international students, temporary workers, and visitors.

The backlog has progressed as follows since the summer:

March 15 and 17, 2022: 1,844,424 persons
February 1, 2022: 1,815,628 persons
December 15, 2021: 1,813,144 persons
October 27, 2021: 1,792,404 persons
July 6, 2021: 1,447,474 persons

Major changes since autumn 2021
IRCC has stopped holding Express Entry draws for CEC candidates since the fall of 2021, and for FSWP candidates since December 2020. The reason was to clear the large inventory of applications that caused processing times to increase. Pausing Express Entry draws for these programs means no new applications are coming in for them, allowing officers to process the backlog. IRCC has, however, been holding PNP draws biweekly in record numbers.

Public IRCC records suggest that Express Entry draws for FSWP and CEC candidates will resume in 2022, once the backlogs are reduced and the six-month processing standard can resume.

In the 2021 Budget, Canada allocated $85 million to reduce processing times across all IRCC lines of business. Minister Fraser has said this budget will allow Canada to return to processing service standards for study permits, work permits, and permanent resident card renewals by the end of the year. The temporary reduction in Express Entry admissions is so IRCC can wind down the processing of its TR2PR program.

Canada released the 2022-2024 Immigration Levels Plan in February. The government plans to admit record numbers of newcomers every year for the next three years. The Express Entry targets are significantly reduced for 2022 and 2023 but return to over 110,000 immigrants in 2024.

To be granted entry, visitors must submit proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test result and undergo a 3-day quarantine at a government-approved hotel at a cost of CAD $2,000 per person.
