Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Scuba Dive Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dive shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scuba diving, exceptional leadership skills, and a customer-focused mindset to drive the growth and success of our shop.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth customer transactions.
Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by offering professional advice, handling customer inquiries, and resolving complaints effectively.
Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets and promote diving services, equipment, and certification courses.
Dive Equipment Management: Ensure the proper maintenance, storage, and display of all diving equipment and supplies.
Staff Supervision & Training: Train and manage staff, ensuring they provide excellent service, meet safety standards, and are well-informed about diving products and courses.
Financial Management: Manage the shop’s budget, process transactions, track revenue, and handle cash management. Prepare financial reports for upper management.
Dive Trips & Classes Coordination: Organize and promote dive trips, diving classes, and certification courses. Maintain relationships with instructors and dive operators.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the dive shop adheres to all health and safety regulations, including dive safety protocols, local laws, and PADI/RAID/SSI/SDI standards.
Qualifications:
Diving Certifications: Must hold a minimum of a Divemaster certification from PADI, RAID, SSI, SDI, or equivalent.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in dive shop management or the scuba diving industry.
Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Leadership Skills: Strong team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and lead a team to success.
Financial Acumen: Experience with managing budgets, cash handling, and financial reporting.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of scuba equipment, diving techniques, and equipment maintenance.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Multiple languages a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy diving equipment, and occasional participation in dive trips is required.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with dive trip coordination.
Marketing and social media experience.
Familiarity with dive shop management software.
Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Our Adventure Story:
Aqua Ventura divers has a dive shop located in the town of Dauin, Negros Oriental (Micro/Muck Diving City), offering you and your friends and family an adventurous combination of snorkeling, free diving, and scuba diving plus accommodation options based upon your requirements from backpackers to high level end resorts.

We conduct daily diving activities in Dauin, Zamboanguita, Siaton, and Apo Island dive sites. From micro/muck, walls, caverns, drift, deep, to snorkeling with Whale Sharks, we accommodate to your skills from beginners to Professionals.

We are now branching out to the whole Central Visayas area which includes from: Saragio, Southern Leyte, Bohol, Siquijor, Cebu Malapascua, Negros, all the way to Palawan with our Island Hopping banka boats and yachts!! You will have to BOOK these adventure trips in advance so we can prepare everything for your total enjoyment. Most book a year or two ahead of time.

We are also including land adventure tours for our guests who are not divers! You can still enjoy the many land tours available in the Visayas area. Check our website (https://aquaventuradiving.com) for a list of what we have to offer and tell us what you would like to see the most!! We will be very happy to get you there to see the many wonders on land as well. From lakes, falls, hot springs, caves to kite flying, zip lines, Local flights to Visayan Islands, up to sky diving!! Everything is a possibility!!

We are able to offer you a full complement of PADI, SSI, SDI, or RAID dive courses from Introductory Discover Scuba Diving and Bubble Maker for kids, all the way up to the much coveted Professional Dive Master rating.

With a range of accommodation choices to suit your budget, you will find that we can offer you an 'all-inclusive' package that will keep you coming back for more! (Be careful, you may even want to move here!!)
