The Secretariat, Logistics and Program Committees of Guide Davao for the 2025 TGFed National Convention went on an ocular visit of establishments in Mati today to see possible venues for the component events as well as check accommodations to recommend to our delegates. What a productive day!

Finally! After long months of planning, the Pinning Ceremony of Guide Davao members and oath-taking of new members was realized last Friday.

GUIDE DAVAO would like to thank Department of Tourism - Davao Region Team headed by Director Tanya Rabat-Tan for administering the oath as well as for giving each member their pins, assisted by Surelite Travels GM Ruben Neri - who is also a former tour guide and one of the first members of Guide Davao.

We would also like to thanks Davao City Tourism Operations Office OIC, Ms Jennifer Romero, and Ms Anne Margaret Pelingon of JIB International Management School for joining taking time to join us.

Congratulations to Agnes Gonzales, Janezee Marcelo Abatayo and Sharon Gay Cañeda for successfully completing the National Museum: Guides and Docents Training Program for NMP Staff and Museum Volunteers.

The training is held in preparation for the opening of the National Museum - Davao, tomorrow, December 1, 2024.

DAVAO ORIENTAL IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL. That is why Guide Davao chose the province as the venue of the 2025 TGFed Convention when we bid for its hosting last June in Tacloban.

As part of the preparation for next year's event, Guide Davao members visited the City of Mati and the towns of San Isidro, Banaybanay, Caraga, Baganga and Cateel, to assess which spots will be highlighted for the tour of the delegates as well as possible venue for the convention proper.
