CEB Refund Update
As of Sept 17, 2020

As many know, the tourism and aviation industries have been among the worst hit by COVID-19 and currently, Cebu Pacific is only able to operate 10% of its pre-COVID network.

Since the start of this pandemic, we have received an unprecedented number of refund requests due to the flight cancellations brought about by the lockdown. Our refund process then was originally not designed to handle this volume of requests, and this resulted in a backlog. We have since then revamped our procedures in order to address this.

To date, we have refunded over PHP 2.4 billion booking cancellations related to COVID-19, equivalent to 50% of refund requests received. We remain committed to our customers to complete pending refunds, and will update them once these have been processed. We are currently halfway through refund requests filed last April.

We understand how challenging this whole situation is, and we sincerely apologize for the delay. We thank our guests for their patience and understanding as we continue to enhance our processes for this to be resolved soonest.

Ipinapaalam po ng MICKAZ TRAVEL &TOURS na ang saklaw po ng services namin is mainly po mag book lamang. Regarding naman po sa cancellations ng mga flights, ang mga kinauukulan po ng different airline company ang nag dedesisyon meaning hindi po namin control kung may changes or cancellations sa mga flights niyo po.

Sa mga nagtatanong naman po ukol sa refund may mga itinakdang fare rules po ang airlines. Mas maigi po na tumawag po tayo sa hotline ng airlines para po sa kapaliwanagan ng concern niyo regarding refund, rebook and cancellation.

Ayon kay CAAP Davao manager Rex Obcena, base sa liham na ipinadala ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Davao sa Department of Transportation, nakasaad na sa June 8, 2020 na magbabalik-operasyon ang commercial domestic flights sa F. Bangoy Int’l Airport habang sa June 22, 2020, nakatakdang umarangkada ang international flights.

All Cebu Pacific domestic flights to and from Manila are already fully booked today. We request affected passengers to not go to the airport or ticket offices to avail of their rebooking, refund or travel fund options, and to please manage their bookings online instead. This is for the health and safety of everyone.

We will notify affected passengers via email addresses provided to us upon booking, once their bookings can be managed online. We are in the process of completing cancellations for March 15-April 14 flights in our system.

We are working on mounting recovery options in the coming days and will announce them as soon as they are available.

Sorry if possible for cancellation tayo or rebooking sa ating mga flights dahil sa NCOV19.It is for our safety too.

Now po , since our Mr President said a while ago , effective March 15 all domestic flights and International flights will be suspended but still it's under review pa po .Under review kasi kailangan pa nila ng tugon mula sa company ng mga Airlines.

Ngayon po, after March 15 2020 , on March 16 lets decide ano pwde nating gawin. Kasi as of now if you insist na i re book , pwde ito free of charge ng rebooking fee but fare difference may apply. So may bayad 😉 kasi po wala pang email from the airlines na cancelled tayo.

So I am begging your patience, hindi po mkakatulong ang pag panic. Everything will be fine. It’s rebookable if we receive an email from the airlineis. As of now , relax lang po muna tayo.

Wala pong may kagustuhan nito madami tayo apektado. Huwag natin ipilit ang gusto natin kahit alam po natin na impossible.. Maghintay po tayo sa advise ng airline.. Huwag po natin ipilit sa kagaya namin travel agent ang mag magic.. Si Airlines pa din ang magdedecide regarding sa flight status. We will update you once may email na po ako na receive.
