18 years ago, I decided to apply as a telco account agent at iQor after relocating to Pampanga to support my daughter. Within a year, I was promoted to the support group and later, to operations manager.

I’m not going to lie, being in a telco account means you’ll be busy for most of your shift but the rewards you get for doing a good job are truly worth it! After 18 years with iQor's telco account, I’ve learned that success starts with your mindset. To inspire my team and those aspiring to become telco customer experience (CX) agents, here’s my advice: The only limits you have are the ones you set for yourself. If you want to thrive in the BPO industry, cultivate the mindset to push beyond your boundaries, stay determined, and keep striving toward your goals.

I’ll stay with iQor for as long as I can. I absolutely love the people I work and interact with and consider them as family. My higher ups are the best mentors. They challenge me because they know I am up to the tasks they set for me. They really prioritize empathy and understanding, which helps me take care of my well-being and maintain a healthy work-life balance. iQor is simply the best!
