1 Corinthians 12:12
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
This illustration shows that every member of the church has its own function in serving the Lord and that every member must minister in their own different ways. As a member of the body of Christ, you can be used whether in preaching, teaching, singing, giving, reaching out the lost and even cleaning the church. Everyone is important just as every ministry you do is important.
