Huge congratulations to our very own Arnie Macañeras for bagging 2nd Runner Up among great and strong trail runners across Asia.

Yesterday Sept.14,2024 held at Kota Kinabalo, Sabah Malaysia he competes with other strong trail runners with the hopes of bagging Asia Trail Master 2024, yet in the end Jeff Campbell from Canada ( currently residing in Hong Kong) won the race, and Hisashi Kitamura from Japan sprints his self at the final 5kms uphill where he caught Arnie in the last 1km of the race enduring his cramps. He finished the 80km race with unofficial time of 9:56:16.

Still the local hero of Davao del Sur, Arnie run his heart out to a podium finish.

Congratulations also to John Stingray Onifa, who sustain stomach ache in the later part of the race ( he's leading the first 53 kms of the race) . Still a great performance for him and proving that listening to your body during a race is more important than winning it, there's always room for a COMEBACK

Introducing the RaceYa Elite Team…

Elias Tabac, Christine Hallasgo, and Arnie Macaneras are three of the country’s top athletes today but their journey wasn’t easy. From their humble beginnings, their dedication, consistency, and the support of their loved ones have brought them to where they are now.

They inspire us to find the athletes in us, and RaceYa will be supporting them as they raise the Philippine flag and make the country proud in upcoming events.

Elias Tabac and Christine Hallasgo will be competing in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games happening in Cambodia next month, while Arnie Macaneras will be competing in the World Mountain Trail Running Championships in Austria in June.

The great ultra runner Aleksandr Sorokin does it again as he breaks his own world 100km record by six seconds 🔥

His time of 6:05:35 averages out to be around 5:53 a mile/3:39 a km - over 62.1 miles 🤯

That pace is the equivalent to:
