It's always great when mates drop in for a few weeks and even better when they bring thier own accommodation.
Andrew comes over every few months and the 3 things I like about him is,
He is Australian,
He drinks,
HE LEAVES AT THE END OF THE DAY, Hahahahaha
Best of all I can dump our kids there for the weekend.
Beautiful month on a beautiful island but could use a little rain, I don't really like watering our lawn and gardens.
We had 3 fiestas on our 3 islands this and last month and finally worked out that someone has been mixing alcohol in my drinks, but great food, great people and fantastic traditional atmosphere. With me knowing more and more families on each island it's become very hard to visit many during Fiestas I do apologise but will be doing my best to stop and have a drink during the year
A little advice for visitors, if you want to experience a true local experience and celebration then come out when there is one of these Fiestas is happening.
We are 90% rebuilt now and have solar up and running so electricity all night (yippee).
I often get asked by our guests and friends "What do I miss from from Australia? " I just ask them to look around and then ask themselves the same question ⁉ Although I would love a good thick rib eye fillet steak and a leg of lamb.
