It's always great when mates drop in for a few weeks and even better when they bring thier own accommodation.
Andrew comes over every few months and the 3 things I like about him is,
He is Australian,
He drinks,
HE LEAVES AT THE END OF THE DAY, Hahahahaha
Best of all I can dump our kids there for the weekend.
Beautiful month on a beautiful island but could use a little rain, I don't really like watering our lawn and gardens.
We had 3 fiestas on our 3 islands this and last month and finally worked out that someone has been mixing alcohol in my drinks, but great food, great people and fantastic traditional atmosphere. With me knowing more and more families on each island it's become very hard to visit many during Fiestas I do apologise but will be doing my best to stop and have a drink during the year
A little advice for visitors, if you want to experience a true local experience and celebration then come out when there is one of these Fiestas is happening.
We are 90% rebuilt now and have solar up and running so electricity all night (yippee).
I often get asked by our guests and friends "What do I miss from from Australia? " I just ask them to look around and then ask themselves the same question ⁉ Although I would love a good thick rib eye fillet steak and a leg of lamb.
If you want that perfect island lifestyle experience away from the bu****it "selfie" "tiktok" disease that has infected so many people and you just want to enjoy the beauty surrounding you then send me a message.

A very busy few months setting up the new solar so now 24/7 electricity combined with Anajawan Island's Fiesta and a beautiful beachfront wedding at our place.
Congratulations to Koy and Day and we were blessed with great weather for the day.
We apologise to the people who missed out on staying in June and Jully as we were closed while setting up for everything, but we are again fully open and ready to share with you our island paradise. There has been some great sunsets and the stars have been awesome.
Once you have booked just let us know your flight number or what day you want to come out and we will arrange your transfers for you, if you're arriving in your own boat let us know what time you expect to be here and we will keep a look out to meet you.

As another fully booked month goes by with absolutely awesome guests making it always sad when they leave. A quick update, I was happy to receive hundreds of books from our friends in Australia to start our elementary school library which the students run and a big thank you to "Project Juan" from Australia who have been helping our community for 5 years now who organised Dentists to come and help for free as well as their many donations including a new community boat and a water pump to help the next time we get flooded. You guys are always welcome to come and stay with us again anytime.
If anyone wants to experience a "True Island lifestyle experience" where you can still find a totally secluded beach to yourself just a few minutes walk onto the other side of our island then come out and visit us, meet the community. Super safe, excellent fresh food and a totally unique getaway.
Hopefully we will get to share our island paradise with you soon.

Super busy the last few months with our glass bottom boat and snorkeling tours to our marine sanctuary with amazing corals and awesome sea life just minutes from our resort. Come out and enjoy this unspoilt paradise and you don't even have to get wet or swim, just sit back and relax in comfort looking through our underwater window in our boat. For those who want to snorkel we stop right on top of the reef so you can slip into the water and explore the reef yourself under the watchful eye of our trained staff. Please ask about our package deals. We will soon be opening our new rooms so hopefully no one will miss out.

While the building continues this month and the weather is awesome I am offering "SUPER CHEAP" Beachfront house for php600 per night minimum 3 nights, good for 4pax and just php4700 for round trip boat transfers 4pax (if you can get cheaper anywhere please let me know and our boat in double engine and has ear muffs for all customers). We still have vacancies 22-30 June. One house left.
If you're looking for that perfect getaway with great food, crystal clear water, amazing beaches and one of the safest places on the planet call us. You can just walk out of your house, down the beach and then snorkeling right in front.

Another outstanding week out here on Anajawan Island, with a few trips out to the corals in front of the resort in the glass bottom boat and our kids doing their guided mountain top and sunset walking tours taking care of our guests. We had a great time out on the reef in the glass bottom boat and were able to jump in and snorkel around for an hour or so. Water temperature 30degrees and crystal clear as usual. Our guests from Sweden and Portugal had an awesome time with the perfect weather.
Unfortunately it was work work work for me getting dragged out of my office and having to jump in the water and guide over the coral reef but better me than anyone else to take this type of work load on, although on Monday we did have to cater lunch and afternoon snacks for 60 people so I really did have to work hard.
Come out and join us and experience "True Island lifestyle" and become part of our Anajawan family and for all those that have already been here, hurry and get back.

We sadly say goodbye to another 3 families (4 adults and 6 kids) this week who spent a great time out here with us with their kids.

As the weather gets better our unspoilt island becomes even more beautiful. We have just launched the glass bottom boat again now the the ocean is better. Come out and spend some time with us and experience "real island life". Our last French guests spent the day walking around the whole island and swimming in different spots around this outstanding wonderland.

With the bad weather the last month most of our guest managed to get into the surf everyday which has been awesome and on the few breaks in the weather we still managed to get onto the reef a couple of days but everyone has been swimming on our beach with the water temperature still around 29c rain and shine. Hopefully the weather will change for the better soon because we now have a couple of vacancies for the rest of this month and February, book early or miss out.

With low season here and the weather bringing some wind and the waves for surfers we are still going out onto the reef most days and the visibility is great. One of our customers captured this video on their go-pro by just putting it over the side of the glass bottom boat as we drifted along. We have the nights of 20, 21 and 22 December available and we are taking bookings for the 31st December until 16th January we have a house available.

We are sad this family had to go home but we are extremely happy that they were able to share their time with us as a family and exploring both the island and the underwater world with beautiful corals, fish and the sunken ship together. Swimmers and non swimmers can now certainly enjoy the wonders of the ocean floor and no one gets left back in a kubo, hotel or on the beach and just a simple walk to the top of the island to see the surrounding islands at sunset before dinner to work up an appetite.

What a great Sunday Funday afternoon out on the reef. The weather was perfect and we have started taking all the women in our community here out to show them the sunken ship and coral reef. It's hard to believe they have lived here all their lives and have never seen the beauty that surrounds them and also hard to believe that some cannot even swim. We had a such a good time and for me watching their excited faces everytime we found some beautiful coral or colourful fish was awesome. Some of the girls even jumped in for a swim out there and as most people do had to swim under the glass to get their underwater photo on top of the coral. We plan to try to get as many of the girls here out onto the reef this month so they can really see where they live.
If you want to see the true beauty of Siargao call us and come and see for yourself, your vacation should be more than taking selfies in front of a location sign. When your friends and family look at your photos they should say "PLEASE TAKE THERE" and not just say " thats nice" so join us and be amazed. All our photos are just taken with a cell phone through the glass window, no special camera.
