Good morning, Bayan ng Dipaculao!

We are excited to announce that tomorrow, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 PM, we will be holding the Grand Opening of Sports Activities 2024 at the Municipal Compound.

Chess Tournament

We look forward to seeing all selected players and Barangay to participate for the parade. Let’s make this event memorable

Zumba Dance Competition

Mechanics and Guidelines

1) There shall be two (2) categories;
(a) main category aged 20 to 59 years old and shall be composed of a minimum of fifteen (15) but not to exceed (25) dancers; and a,
(b) senior category aged 60 and above who are composed of ten (10) but not to exceed fifteen (15) dancers,

2) Each group must represent one (1) Barangay. Dancers must all be bonafide residents of the barangay they represent. Any non-resident dancer will be disqualified from the group immediately.

3) Groups may be composed of an all-male, all-female or mixed dancers. A deduction of three (3) points for any excess or deficient number of participant/s will be imposed.

4) The order of performance shall be based on draw lots picked prior to the contest proper.

5) Groups must bring their own choice/ensemble of music and submit a copy to the management one (1) day before the competition. A back-up copy must also be readily available to avoid delays in the performance. Any delay made by the performer/s will incur one (1) point deduction.

6) No professional dancers, coaches or trainers shall be part of the group. A three (3) point deduction shall be imposed for violation.

7) Music and choreography must be wholesome and lively and MUST NOT contain any subliminal, sexually suggestive nor vulgar lyrics, language or suggestive acts.

8) The contest piece for both categories should contain at least 60%of modernized/stylized music in fast modern tempo.

9) The performance for the main category should be a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of seven (7) minutes, while the senior category should be not lower the four (4) and a maximum of five (5) minutes. Any excess in time will incur a three (3) point deduction. Each group will be given two(2) minutes to prepare/set up props or equipment need in the stage/area of performance.
10) Appropriate clothing should be observed throughout the competition. Zumba Attire may include accessories such as hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelries, etc. Removing pieces of clothing is allowed provided that it is not offensive or out of character.

Deadline of Confirmation is until November 04, 2024|Monday and look for Ms. Donna Belen (MSWDO) and Mr. Yvis Ian Reyes (MHO) please bring copy of identification card and list of your members for Registry of Barangay Inhabitants or RBI checking.

The Local Government Unit of Dipaculao celebrates Tourism Week 2024 as part of the World Tourism Month with the theme: Tourism and Peace .

The celebration was composed of different activities such as Tourism Fair, Lokal Kulinarya, Photography Contest, Tourism Video Making Contest and Brochure Designing Contest.

These activities aim to uphold the value of local talents and local cultures through the involvement of Tourism Stakeholders.

As time passes, the amphitheater was developed and renovated, evolving into a contemporary space.

The once plain concrete bench and (3) panels were replaced with more refined materials and design features. Today, the amphitheater stands as a modern, multifunctional venue, blending advanced design with its original use.

Despite these significant changes, the sole purpose of the amphitheater remains the same . It continues to be a space for community gatherings, performances, and cultural events, maintaining its role as a center for shared experiences and artistic expression in the Municipality of Dipaculao. The evolution of the Don Claro M Recto Amphitheater reflects a commitment in preserving its essential function while embracing innovation and progress.

It was name after the late Senator Claro M. Recto.
