Dipolog City has been selected by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to compete in the global campaign against 76 cities across the globe.

We aim to retain the title as the "Most Lovable Philippine City" and to hopefully best the other participating cities internationally.

Ways to vote for Dipolog:

We are grateful to be invited to grace this momentous event in our beloved city as the recipient of Department of Tourism's chosen city in the region to launch Love Inspired, The Philippines: A canvass of Bio-Diversity.

The unveiling of the mural, designed and painted by our local artists remind us that we need to take care not only for the people but all the living things and its ecosystem alltogether.

‼️ EXPERIENCE ZANORTE CULTURE, ARTS, HERITAGE AND FARM TOUR ‼️

Our Thursday was a day of beautiful sceneries, experience our culture and know more about our National Hero Dr Jose Rizal, braved the scorching heat of the sun to pick some calamansi fruit and care for our mother earth by planting some guayabano trees. How else can this be better but to fill up our tummy with local food:lechon, guayabano shake, strawberry shake, kinulatang saging, kakanin and hot native tsokolate!

Indeed, it was a fun-filled day with our balikbayans! We are happy to serve you 🥰

Thank you Zanorte Tourism Office, our tourism site partners, suppliers and tour guides! To two energetic content creators, Mr Emm and Ka Lokal, we enjoyed your company, thank you! We are truly grateful to the tourism industry!

May 9 – Gidapit karon ang mga katawhang Dipolognon sa pagsaksi sa ipahigayong “25th P’gsalabuk Festival Street Dancing” karong umaabot adlaw Huwebes, Mayo 16, 2024 sa may alas 4:00 ang takna sa hapon subay sa pipila ka mga kadalanan sulod ning siyudad.

Kining maong kalihokan mao ang naghatag og bolok sa kasaulogan sa P’gsalabuk Festival, diin adunay unom (6) ka mga participating contingents ang misalmot, nga mohatag og kalingawan sa mga katawhang Dipolognon ug dumuduong.

Karong tuiga, ang nasangpit nga kalihokan ang manukad sa dalan Hen. Luna, atubangan sa kapitolyo probinsiyal, ug molakaw liko patuo sa dalan Padre Ramon St., liko pawala sa A. Bonifacio Street, dayon liko pawala sa Herrera St, patuo sa dalan Rizal, liko na sab pawala sa Quezon Avenue, liko patuo sa Velasco St.,padulong sa Dipolog Boulevard, nga motapos didto sa Explore Dipolog Area,Dipolog Boulevard, isip Presentation venue, diin ang mga contingents ang mopakita sa ilang kahanas sa pagsayaw.
Adunay tulo (3) ka mga gidesignar nga Dancing Stations ang ipahimutang, diin didto mohunong sa makadyot ang mga contingents og mosayaw atubang sa mga hurado aron sila ang pag-gradohan, isip usa sa mga criteria nga mao ang Station 1 (infront sa Holy Rosary Cathedral), S-2 (atubangan sa kanhi Friends Burger sa dalan Rizal) ug S-3 (atubangan sa Lee Plaza Central sa dalan Quezon).
Alayon sa pagpahigayon ning nasangpit nga kalihokan, adunay temporaryong pagsirado sa mga nahisgotang kadalanan sa unahan nga nahimong rota sa street dancing ngadto sa publiko gikan alas 2:00 sa hapon hangtud na sa alas 7:00 sa kagabhion sa Mayo 16 (anti-bisperas), samtang ang ubang kadalanan nga wala nahilakip sa rota padulong sa bisan asang dapit dinhi sa dakbayan ang magpabiling bukas ngadto sa publiko.
Subay niini, naghangyo karon ang kagamhanang lokal ning atong siyudad ngadto sa mga katawhan sa paghatag og diyotay nga pagsabot ning diyotay nga kausaban, alang sa kalamposan sa atong dakong kalihokan. (CIO-afb)

We are honored and grateful to Ret. Gen. Alexander Yano, the 1st 4-Star General from Mindanao and the 38th Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to personally welcomed us, our tour guides, Tourism students from SVC and Mam Gina Luy from the City Tourism Office. Gen. Yano himself oriented us to his very well curated Onay Museum. His dedication to our country through his service in the military for 37 years is truly an inspiration.
