The Department of Tourism (DOT) through its Branding and Marketing Communication Office launches a variety of events and activations that will showcase and highlight the Philippines biodiversity, award-winning destination, cultural heritage and gastronomical efforts in support of the "Love the Philippines" campaign.

In collaboration with the City Government of Dipolog, the "Love Biodiversity Day" was successfully conducted today, August 16, 2024 at Boulevard, Dipolog City with the Department of Tourism Assistant Secretary, Office of the Secretary Ms. Gissela Marie R. Quisumbing, DOT Region IX Director Ms. Dara May L. Cataluña, JD,MDMG, Dipolog City Vice Mayor Hon. Atty. Senen O. Angeles, City Government Chief of Offices and employees.

This Love Biodiversity Day seeks to raise awareness about the rich biodiversity that are conserved by local stakeholders and DOT Regional Offices with coastal Clean-Up activity and the unveiling of a commissioned mural created by local artists followed by a sustainable and immersive activity that highlights the region's biodiversity and sustainability.
