I am overjoyed to announce that Dipolog City has been named the Regional Winner in Asia of the 2024 World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) We Love Cities global competition! This remarkable achievement was made possible by the incredible support and enthusiasm of every one of you who cast your vote and shared your ideas for a sustainable future. 🌱

The We Love Cities initiative by WWF has given us a platform to showcase Dipolog's commitment to sustainable urban development. Through the campaign, we didn’t just earn votes; we united as a community, inspired others, and brought our vision for a greener and more resilient city to the world stage.

The above awards were received by Hon. Darel Uy in Zamboanga City, accompanied by First Lady Vanessa Uy.

This film workshop jumps off from the first Dipolog Film Workshop two years ago. It focuses on looking closely into produced films for the Dipolog Film Festival with an aim to upgrade skills for young filmmakers of the community.

The three-day workshop is designed to push for production of excellent films, telling local stories that showcase the culture, lifestyle, value, spots of Dipolognons and the people of Zamboanga del Norte.
