About the Tour

The Hidden Beaches and Shrine tour (Tour C) is a popular tour in El Nido. Aside from the beautiful beaches that you will be visiting, you will also get a glimpse of a past that was never forgotten at Matinloc Island.

You will get to visit up to 5 destinations, each offering something that you will love. However, as part of the local government's effort to maintain sustainable tourism practices, the Secret Beach can only accommodate a maximum of 500 people per day. Hence, early booking is encouraged. if the stop is no longer available, we will divert to a different one.

Your trip includes lunch which will be prepared by your boat crew. We also highly encourage you to rent equipment so you can fully enjoy the stops.

Drop off at the wharf and you can take public transport back to your hotel.

📍KAWASAN FALLS, CEBU

The cold, cascading waters of Kawasan Falls in Cebu are perfect for swimming or jumping into. The hamlet of Badian is home to this multi-layered waterfall, which is most recognized for its turquoise waters.

The majority of visitors stay at the 40-meter-tall first cascade, where they swim and get a natural water massage while floating on a bamboo raft. You may hike up to the second cascade, which is quieter, in ten minutes.

In addition, Kawasan Falls serves as the destination for the well-liked adventure sport of canyoneering. Alegria's town of Kanlaob River is the starting point of this excursion. As you travel to Kawasan, you'll cross streams by swimming, scale natural rock walls by rappelling, and ultimately leap down miniature waterfalls.

The village of Moalboal, which is close by, is well-known for its "sardine run" experience, in which you can swim with millions of sardines right offshore.

📍TAAL VOLCANO AND LAKE, TAGAYTAY AND BATANGAS

Locals and tourists from other countries frequently head south to Tagaytay, a tranquil town renowned for its temperate climate, breathtaking scenery, and plenty of tourist attractions, as a fast getaway from the metropolis. It is well-known for being among the greatest family-friendly locations close to Manila.

One of the smallest active volcanoes in the world, Taal Volcano, is visible from the finest hotels in Tagaytay. Perched on a lake inside another island is the volcano.

Head to Tagaytay eateries, cafes, or hotels with a view of Taal instead of hiking to the crater, which is now prohibited. Warm up your journey with a delicious bowl of Bulalo, a transparent soup made with beef shanks, bone marrow, and maize, while visiting Tagaytay and Batangas.

📍INTRAMUROS AND FORT SANTIAGO, MANILA

One of the most famous sites in the Philippines is Manila's walled Intramuros. Take a journey down history lane there. Miguel Lopez de Legazpi built this 64-hectare Spanish fortification, which was destroyed at the close of World War II.

Still, the remains can still be seen today and rank among Manila's most Instagrammable locations. You can take a Manila bike tour or an Intramuros tour to see the region. Numerous institutions and universities now call the area home. This neighborhood is an excellent destination for a staycation in the Philippines since it has historical sites like the huge Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church, the oldest church in the country. You can also locate centuries-old churches here, which are architectural landmarks in the Philippines.

Fort Santiago, a fortification that functioned as the headquarters for troops and foreign powers, is another sight in Intramuros. The location where the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, was detained prior to his ex*****on is noteworthy historically.

When you visit Fort Santiago, you can discover more about its past. To explore Intramuros' medieval walls, you can also take a horse-drawn carriage ride or go on a guided tour on bamboo bikes.

Enjoy a meal or a drink at some of the best Filipino eateries in Intramuros to round off your journey. Barbara's is a well-known restaurant where you may eat buffet-style traditional Filipino food and take in a cultural performance.

📍MAYON VOLCANO, ALBAY, BICOL

Upon landing at Bicol International Airport in Albay province, you will be greeted by the majestic world's most flawless volcanic cone and the Philippines' most active volcano. A must-see on any Bicol tour is the Mayon Volcano, one of the most breathtaking locations in the Philippines.

Its utter beauty belies a violent core; in the past, eruptions have destroyed multiple communities. The name Mayon is derived from the Bicolano
word "magayon," which means beautiful.

Seeing the volcano from a distance is already a fantastic experience; it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Albay and one of the best natural landmarks in the Philippines. However, if you're an adrenaline addict, you may take in all of its splendor while zooming down a zip line in Lignon Hill or touring the Mayon Volcano in Bicol on an ATV trip. For a different, historic vantage point of the Mayon Volcano, visit the Cagsawa Ruins.

Bonus: You may enjoy swimming with whale sharks in their native habitat in Donsol, a short side trip from Legazpi.

📍TUBBATAHA REEF

One of the best places to dive in the Philippines and possibly the entire globe is Tubbataha Reef. It is regarded as a center of marine biodiversity and a refuge for both divers and marine conservationists, situated in the center of the Sulu Sea. This marine reserve can only be reached from Puerto Princesa, Palawan, via liveaboard boat.

Though difficult to reach, this is likely the reason why the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is home to some of the world's most unusual underwater species. It was suggested to be one of the "New Seven Wonders of the Natural World" and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

More than half of all coral species worldwide, as well as reef sharks, manta rays, and Napoleon wrasses, live in Tubbataha. Birds and marine turtles use one of its islets as a breeding location.

Planning for tubbataha reef diving can take months or even years, but the incredible treasure beneath is well worth the effort.

NACPAN BEACH, EL NIDO

While El Nido, Palawan, is most known for its paradisiacal islands and lagoons, Nacpan Beach, another gorgeous location, is only 45 minutes away by boat from El Nido's main town.

It is not recommended to skip your island hopping adventures in El Nido, which should include a trip to the Big Lagoon and other famous beaches in Palawan. Nacpan Beach is a must-visit location after a full day of exploring coves, El Nido's white sand beaches, limestone cliffs, and other El Nido, Palawan tourist attractions.

The 4-kilometer shoreline, which features golden sand and an uninterrupted row of palm trees, is the major draw and ideal for lazing around. The other beach is Calitang Beach, and with the two make up what is today referred to as El Nido's Twin Beaches.

It is not advisable for visitors to swim far from the coast at Nacpan since the currents might suddenly get strong and choppy.

CALLE CRISOLOGO, VIGAN

As you wander down Calle Crisologo in Vigan as part of your itinerary for Ilocos, you'll feel as though you've traveled back in time. This sixteenth-century town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a well-liked tourist destination in the Philippines, subtly exudes Spanish colonial architecture and old-world charm. It is the main draw for Ilocos tours, the best attraction in Vigan, and one of the country's most important historical sites.

The town that is well-known for its Calle Crisologo tour has been able to maintain its historic district, which is still home to calesas (horse-drawn carriages). Walk down cobblestone lanes adorned with gift stores selling Abel Iloko weaves and pottery, and indulge in the renowned and delectable Ilocos empanada. These are just a few of the numerous activities you can see and do in Vigan.
