VALENCIA TOWN AMONG THE TOP THREE FAVORED TRAVEL DESTINATIONS IN NEGOR

The town of Valencia grab spot as one among the top three preferred travel destinations in Negros Oriental.

Valencia, together with the City of Dumaguete and the town of Dauin made it to the top three in the Negros Oriental ranking in terms of volume in the 2022 overnight guests arrival report released by the Department of Tourism in Central Visayas.

Its rich culture and heritage, unrivaled beauty of natural resources coupled by the warmth and friendliness of the Valencianons made Valencia town as one of the province’s top tourist destinations, Valencia Tourism Officer Des Tilos said.

The same DOT report showed that of the 76 towns and cities in Central Visayas, Valencia town got the 21st spot as having the most number of overnight guests arrivals in 2022.

Valencia is a prime destination for nature adventure. Tourists can go bathing at the cascading twin falls of Pulang’bato, marvel the wonders of Mag-aso steaming ground, go trekking at Mt. Talinis, take a glimpse of the past by visiting the Cata-al World War II museum, and many others.
