Fact:
Kampung Sumangkap (Sumangkap Village) is located in Matungong of Kudat District where most villagers are Rungus, the indigenous people of Sabah. Rungus is skillful in all sorts of craftwork and their women are the best weaver and handicraft maker in Sabah.
In the village you can find Gong workshops alongside wooden houses.
