ALL-IN-ONE RBR KUBO GUIDE

All of our fifteen kubos have recently been revarnished and they look great now! Also, a new floor fan has also been added to each of our (nine) bedroom kubos.

Air conditioning units have also been added to Kubos One (two units), Kubo Two, Kubo Six, Kubo Eight and Kubo Nine. We are very proud of what we have achieved.

Rea and I will be going on a two night staycation in the "City of Pines" (Baguio) later this month. Rea's mother, Herminia and grandson, Alexander will be coming with us. We have chosen to stay at Solero Inn, near the Lion's Head.

Rea tells me that we have not had a holiday since 2018! 😢

Did you know that Rea's Bamboo Resort was the very first resort to open in Barangay Calabasa back in November 2020? We are also the largest of the (currently) four resorts in Calabasa with a total plot size of over 2600 square meters.

Our gardens. laid mainly to grass, contain about sixty established, mature fruit trees. These provide a comfortable shade in the heat and delicious fruit, of course, depending on the time of year.

Our swimming pool (8 meters x 5 meters) is filled with fresh spring water from Mount Marupok and we have a basketball practice area.

We had our best ever Christmas and New Year! Thanks so much, everybody!

NEW AIR-CON UNIT: LAST MINUTE CHANGE OF PLANS

Lazada reckons that our new air conditioning unit could be delivered to us tomorrow (Monday, December 16). We had planned for a long time to put the new air-con in Kubo Three but Kubo Nine is the better choice ......................

Kubo Three has only one bedroom window. If you fill up the window space with air-con, there is no window to see outside. Kubo Nine, however, has two bedroom windows: One for an air-con and one to look through. Simple enough.

The new pricing for Kubo Nine will be as follows in our price list.

9. (AIR_CON) Kubo NINE: 2 pax. 1 double bed. Air conditioning unit in bedroom. 9 square meters floor area. Close to pool. Overnight: 2000. Day: 1600

Just a thought: If you book Kubo Nine before we officially put the prices up, you will be asked to pay the old prices (1400 overnight and 1100 for a day tour). Be quick, though, as this will be very popular.

All of our nine kubos with bedrooms are designed for either two, three or four people.

Kubo Four has two double bedrooms, for example, and it is therefore good for four people. If you wanted a fifth person to stay in the kubo, we would call that an "additional person" and we would charge a fee, of course.
