This is our main house at the resort. A lot of people have asked if it is available for rent. We are very sorry, guys, but it is not: This is our home.

We are just trying out the "Pro" settings on a new Poco X6 Pro 5G smartphone this morning. Apart from that, it is nice to show off some of our bougainvilleas that have just started to reveal their beautiful colors.

AIR CONDITIONING

We introduced air-con into five of our kubos in November 2024:
WITH AIR-CON: Kubos One, Two, Six, Eight and Nine
WITHOUT AIR-CON: Kubos Three, Four, Five and Seven

We kept air-con out of some of our kubos so that we could still appeal to guests on a tighter budget. We were hopeful for an increase to our rental income, but the results have proved nothing short of sensational.

Here are the rental income percentages:
Nov 2024: 47.1% UP on Nov 2023
Dec 2024: 42.2% UP on Dec 2023
Jan 2025: 47.7% UP on Jan 2024

Thank you all so very much indeed. And, if you are one of those people (and there are many) who told us that we need to add air-con to our kubos: Well done! You were 100% correct and we need, obviously, to listen to our guests more often :-)

A FIREPIT - OUR LATEST PROJECT

It will be a four feet wide and two feet high circular pit made with small stones and concrete. Robert will go out in our Chariot today to collect the stones.

We will build it at the back of our resort (on the swimming pool level) at the back of the old house and near to Kubo Nine. When finished, it will look something like the picture below (except made with smaller stones).

All of our fifteen kubos have recently been revarnished and they look great now! Also, a new floor fan has also been added to each of our (nine) bedroom kubos.

Air conditioning units have also been added to Kubos One (two units), Kubo Two, Kubo Six, Kubo Eight and Kubo Nine. We are very proud of what we have achieved.

If you haven't visited us yet, what are you waiting for? There is no entrance fee. We want people to visit us, look around and make suggestions. It is important to us. We also love meeting new people.

IN-GROUND SWIMMING POOL: 8 meters by 5 meters. 2 feet, 9 inches deep at the shallow end and 5 feet deep at the other end. Free but only available to paying guests. Our pool is filled with fresh spring water from Mount Marupok. Please ensure that kids/babies are always monitored
BASKETBALL AREA: Free but only available to paying guests
CAR PARK: Free but guests use it at their own risk. Tip: Do not park directly beneath a coconut tree!
FREE WIFI: Available. Usually a strong signal
ENTRANCE FEES: None (free)
CR FEES: None (free). Kubo One guests use a private CR with hot shower. Other guests use common facilities
OVERNIGHT CHECK-IN: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. CHECK-OUT: 11 a.m.

Extra time per kubo: 250 per hour (or part). Subject to availability (please ask first).

1. Pick alternative date/s for your stay. 100% of your cash deposit will be retained by us. You may only change your date/s once without losing your deposit
2. Cancel your booking outright. We will refund to you an amount of 50% of your paid deposit amount.
The above two options are ONLY AVAILABLE TO YOU providing that you inform us of your cancellation MINIMUM TWO DAYS (48 hours) before your scheduled check-in date
