Something most local tourists tend to overlook is going out on tour by themselves. We're so used to guided tours and joining groups to cut costs to see local sights, and while there's nothing wrong with that, there's something to be said about going out and exploring the island on your own.
Siargao's paradise isn't limited to its beaches or tourist spots, and renting a motorbike for a day will give you all the thrill of jumping off the Sugba Lagoon diving board, guaranteed. Just try to set off early-ish in the morning so you can get back by party time!
My best recommendation is taking the north-bound leg of the Siargao Circumferential Rd, circling to Del Carmen through Pacifico, Burgos, Santa Monica, and San Benito. You can't run out of stops along the way for pictures, beaches, and fresh coconuts. Once you get to Dapa, you can choose to either head back the conventional way (just follow the vans and you'll get back to GL), or taking the scenic Union Road to Malinao.
My favorite part of this "tour" is feasting in Union after the long drive before heading back. Mind you, some sections of this area are still unlit at night, so drive carefully!
