One year ago typhoon Odette hit our beloved island and destroyed most of it. It was devastating not knowing for days if our friends and animals made it through. We are very thankful they did. ❤️
Aswell as for everyone who helped out during this year, getting Malijon and Siargao back on track. And to all our guests who decided to stay with us this year.
Thank you, couldn’t have done it without you. ✨

It’s been over a month since the typhoon hit Siargao.
Since then we have been focused on raising money and helping the community.
We’ve been able to distribute around 300 roof sheets, nails, and plywood, and helped rebuilding new homes for about 20- 30 families.
We couldn’t have done it without your help!

Requirements:
Extremely punctual/on time.
Only long term applicants of over 1 year
English speaking with the ability to check in guests and talk with them.
Previous housekeeping experience is a must.
Eye for detail with cleaning.
Happy and good vibes are very important.
Good time management.
Age 23 - 40

5 to 6 days per week
Schedule 1 : 8am - 3pm
Schedule 2 : 10am - 5pm.
Lunch break : 12 - 1pm

Salary negotiable dependent on skills.

Come and enjoy breakfast at Malijon anytime!
We have a small but delicious menu. You can choose from things such as smoothie bowls with tropical fruits, superfoods and home made granola.
Also serving gourmet oven roasted eggplant and prosciutto sandwich’s.
In this picture is our classic surfers breakfast, served with yummy sour dough bread!
Top it off with a coffee brewed in Italian style moka pot, refreshing Calamansi juice or a more filling banana, date and almond smoothie.

The amazing charity event ‘Shop for Siargao’ is being hosted today in Malijon 😃
There will be great bargains in the specialty ‘Ukay Ukay’ with all proceeds going to our island NGO’s.
There will also be lots of food stalls who will be all donating a part of there sales to the NGO’s.
If your in Siargao come and show your support to this great cause!
You will also have the opportunity to meet the NGO’s and learn about how they are helping Siargao 😃👏🏽

A huge thanks to everyone who came together to help make our second Pop Up Day at Malijon Garden Cottages a huge success.
It was so amazing for us to see the community vibe between the different stall holders, local community and tourists.

We are only 250 meters from an amazing beach and as central as you can be in General Luna.

Our Native and Palm Cottage is made from traditional Nipa materials sourced from Siargao and made in local style. The cottage consists of 1 queen size bed or 2 single beds fitted with mosquito net. You will have use to a shared bathroom located just outside the room with hot shower and toilet. This cottage is situated in a lush garden, 1 min walk from the beach, very central location in General Luna and just 5 minutes from Cloud 9 surfing area. Shared kitchen, bbq, and hangout area/bar with free wifi is available onsite.

The beautiful Ocean Cottage and Pacifico Cottage is our premium rooms equipped with King Size bed, air conditioning, private bathroom with hot shower and day bed. You have your own personal porch setup with hammock and chairs perfect for relaxing after a long day of site seeing or surfing. Malijon is setup amongst beautiful lush gardens so its a perfect place to relax and escape the city life. The Coral Cottage is a Private bungalow situated in a lush garden in-between General Luna and Cloud 9. It is has a Queen size bed fitted with mosquito net and is fan cooled. You will have your own Private bathroom with hot shower and toilet. The cottage also has a private veranda thats great for chilling on after a long day of site seeing or surfing
