"my first sunset in the philippines was one for the mems. a country that has long been on my list of places to visit and it did not disappoint.

pulling together a travel itinerary when there is so much information and opinion out it in the world is a job in itself. with each trip that i do the focus on what makes a good trip for me becomes clearer and clearer. i have a tendency to want to do too much in case i never get the chance to return - but that’s challenging whilst working as i go so i’ve started to build in rest/work times within my schedule by spending a day or two longer in each place i visit.

i also hone in on the few experiences or sights in each spot that i am most keen to do. for siargao, a cloud 9 sunset was one of these and it certainly lived up to my expectations."
