Mayor Rivera spoke infront of students who gathered this week in Busan for the iYF World Culture Camp. A similar activity was also held in Gensan last April and it was attended by thousands of students from different places.
International Youth Fellowship is a worldwide youth organization. One of its goals is to promote unity n mutual understanding through various international exchange activities between countries n nationalities. They also seek to raise future leaders who are intelligent, humble and with a christian mindset.

GSC Tourism Council in partnership with the Gensan LGU, DepEd, KCC Mall and other public-private partners brings you the Mayor's Lecture Series on URBAN GREENING: VEGETABLE TOWER GARDENS with celebrity speaker CHEF MILO ( Dr. Rodelio Carmelo Dalisay).

We are inviting all concerned Generals to participate and experience this incredible lecture on August 13, 2018 (9:00 am) at the KCC Convention Center. Registration will start at 8am.

ADMISSION IS FREE ! Seats are on a first come - first served basis.

GENSAN PUBLIC ARTSCAPES COMPETITION

A. CRITERIA
1) Concept, Creativity, Relevance - 40%,
2) Quality of Ex*****on - 40%
3) Audience Impact - 20%

B. MECHANICS
1) Competition is open to all residents of Gensan.
2) Contest is open to solo artists or teams of 2-5members.
3) Those interested to join should submit the following to GSCTC on or before the August 3, 2018 Orientation:
- name, contact details, short background of creative works
- proposed location (wall) for artwork and name of owner
- proposed concept design and short description
4) All teams must first undergo orientation to ensure appropriateness of location and design concepts before they submit to the council for approval.
5) All designs should have be consistent with the theme "Faces, Food, Festivities."
6) All proposed wall structure must be strategically visible and accessible to the general public.
7) Once location is approved, participant must secure a signed permission of landownwer to use their wall.
8 ) Minimum size for the artworks should be is 8ft x 8ft.
9)All artworks must be acceptable to universal norms. No offensive images (to any culture, race, or sect) shall be allowed.

C. TIMELINES & DEADLINES

July 15, 2018 Announcement of Contest

July 23, 2018-orientation Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, 1:00pm

August 3, 2018 deadline of submission of final design concepts, location and permissions to the council for approval.

August 20, 2018 - deadline of completion of artworks

Aug21-Sept 3, 2018 Audience Impact Promotion period for most likes, shares and hashtags search results.

Sept 4, 2018 Deadline for judging of Entries

Sept 5 -awarding of winners during Closing Program of Tunafest
