Pursuant to the Philippine Government’s efforts to streamline its entry procedures and data collection processes, we inform you of the launch of the eTravel platform, an online registration system for travelers to the Philippines and returning residents.

Beginning 0001H of 02 December 2022, the Health Declaration Checklist of the Department of Health-Bureau of Quarantine may be accessed through etravel.gov.ph.

Passengers using the former www.onehealthpass.com.ph will be redirected to the new eTravel domain. On December 5, the old domain of the One Health Pass will no longer be accessible to the public.

The eTravel platform will host the electronic version of the paper Arrival Card that travelers must submit upon arrival in the Philippines for immigration clearance. Starting 05 December 2022, the Bureau of Immigration will discontinue using the paper Arrival Card. All travelers will be required to provide their arrival information and health declaration through the eTravel portal.

Registration on the eTravel platform is free. The public is warned against transacting with any entities or websites soliciting payments and fees of any kind as these are in no way related to the official eTravel platform of the Philippine Government.

The eTravel platform is a joint initiative of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in partnership with the Bureau of Immigration (BI), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), Bureau of Customs (BOC), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Justice (DOJ), and Department of Transportation (DOTr).

PAL partners with Genesis and Clark Airport for Easy Bus Trips to/from CLARK

Good news for PAL passengers:

Effective August 22, 2022, all PAL ticket holders are entitled to an exclusive 10% discount on selected point-to-point Genesis bus trips to and from Clark International Airport in Pampanga.

This marks a new partnership inked with provincial bus company Genesis Transport Service, Inc. together with Clark International Airport/LIPAD for more convenient travel between Clark airport and Metro Manila (NAIA T2, T3 and Trinoma) as well as Baguio City.

You may avail of the 10% discount within seven (7) days before or after the date of your PAL flight. When buying your Genesis point-to-point bus tickets, please ensure that you have your PAL electronic ticket copy (digital or paper) or your PAL boarding passes with you, as these will serve as proof that you have flown with us or will be flying with us.

The following Genesis bus routes are covered by the promo:

NO DAMAGE TO NAIA FACILITIES
July 27, 2022

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Emergency Response and Safety teams immediately conducted an inspection of airport facilities after a Magnitude 7 earthquake struck Tayum, Abra and other northern provinces in the country, effects of which were also felt in Metro Manila.

The two runways of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) were declared safe for flight operations after no damage was seen on the pavements. Inspection of the four (4) NAIA Terminals likewise yielded good results as no damage was also noted.

The MIAA Terminals and other buildings are equipped with accelerographs set at different thresholds based on the age and structural integrity of the edifice. The accelerographs recorded an Intensity IV earthquake at 0845H where an evacuation is not necessary. However at the International Cargo Terminal where said device is set at a lower threshold, registered a red alarm prompting mandatory evacuation of its occupants who were later allowed to go back to their offices after the building was declared safe. As a result of the evacuation, minimal disruption to processing of cargo was inevitable.

The MIAA Management assures the public that its emergency teams are always ready to react to any eventuality guided by its well-established Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) procedures.

As of 2300H

Regular maintenance repair of NAIA's international runway 06-24 will be extended tomorrow, July 24, 2022, to give way for the immediate repair of a pothole on said pavement.

Closure due to maintenance shall therefore be from 0130H up to 0620H, instead of 0130H - 0330H.

The extended maintenance hours will affect scheduled flights using wide body aircraft. International flight operations shall continue on a limited scale.

As a result, there may be delays or diversions of flights within the 0330H to 0620H window.

The domestic Runway 13-31 on the other hand will remain open.
