Today, we had the privilege of hosting the Iloilo National High School Batch 1979 as they celebrated their remarkable Sapphire - 45th Anniversary in the City of Love! πŸ’ŽπŸ’š

Their journey began with a meaningful tree-planting activity at the Iloilo Esplanade, leaving a green legacy to symbolize their enduring connection to Iloilo City. For many, it was a touching homecoming after decades away.

The group then gathered for a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass at INHS before embarking on a memorable Iloilo City tour, where they rediscovered the city’s rich culture and history. From its timeless streets to majestic mansions, iconic plazas, and centuries-old churches, each moment was a celebration of how the past beautifully intertwines with the present.

𝗧𝗡𝗲 π—¦π˜π—Όπ—Ώπ˜† 𝗕𝗲𝗡𝗢𝗻𝗱 π˜π—΅π—² 𝗨𝗻𝗢𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺

A particularly special moment was when the alumni donned new versions of their old high school uniforms, a heartfelt group idea that symbolized their shared memories. We were fortunate to hear Ma’am Liberty Valderrama share the touching story behind this gesture: during their high school days, uniforms were often passed down from siblings, cousins, or relatives, and many never experienced wearing a brand-new uniform. By doing this, they not only reminisced about their youth but also embraced the joy of finally experiencing something they missed back then.
