HALINA'T MAKI-SINING!

The month of February holds a dual significance in the hearts of Filipinos. It is a time dedicated to celebrating love through Valentine’s Day and to honoring creativity and culture as part of National Arts Month. In 1991, Presidential Proclamation No. 683, issued by then-President Corazon Aquino, declared February as National Arts Month to celebrate artistic excellence and pay tribute to the uniqueness and diversity of Filipino heritage and culture.

In line with this national observance, SAKDAG TALIAMBONG merges the themes of love and artistry, and highlights the integration of culture and creativity by showcasing the talents and artistic achievements of the students from Isabela National High School’s Special Program for the Arts (SPA) while giving them the platform to popularize and the spirit of love and community.

It demonstrates the commitment of the Local Government Unit of Isabela, Isabela National High School, and the Isabela Tourism, Culture, and Arts Affairs in fostering a culture of unity and pride through art and heritage.

Mula sa sining bumubukal ang diwa at damdamin ng taumbayan!

In accordance to Presidential Proclamation No. 683 signed in 1991, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts is preparing to celebrate with the theme “Ani ng Sining, Diwa at Damdamin”.

RATIONALE:
NCCA believes that our nation’s creativity springs forth from the spirit and passion of our people. The spirit, our diwa, is the essence, the soul, the core of the ways of the arts that resonate with our passion, the damdamin that is enriched by our history and hope for the future. This 2025, the National Arts Month celebrates the expressions of beauty that dwell within the spirit and passion of the nation.

Tune in for more information and join us as we prepare for the National Arts Month celebration in partnership with INHS Special Program In The Arts this coming February!

Halina’t maki-sining!
