RESTRICTIONS ON DAMMAM FLIGHTS FOR JULY 8 (THURSDAY)

To Passengers of Flights PR5682/5683 Manila-Dammam-Manila departing on July 8, 2021:

We wish to alert you that the Saudi local authorities have imposed a strict limitation on the number of passengers that we will be allowed to carry on the following flights on July 8 (Thursday): PR5682 departing from Manila to Dammam; and PR5683 departing from Dammam to Manila.

The flights are operating as scheduled, but we are duty bound to comply with the government-imposed limitations, and thus we will be unable to accept a certain number of passengers who have previously been confirmed on these flights for July 8. We are in the process of notifying affected passengers by e-mail or via phone calls.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience and seek your kind understanding that this is a situation beyond our control. We will continue to appeal with the Saudi authorities, and are requesting the assistance and support of the Philippine Government and the Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia, to revoke the limitations because we need to serve the urgent travel needs of our OFWs and other passengers.

If you are affected by the limitation and are thus unable to take our July 8 flights to and from Dammam, you may opt to:

1. Rebook your flight to a later date;
2. Convert your ticket to a Travel Voucher;
3. Refund your ticket without penalties.

Surigao and Siargao have recalled their previous order and now require RT-PCR tests from all passengers, even from a fully-vaccinated traveler, after the Department of Health (DOH) said the protocol remains in effect while the local government units and the Inter-Agency Task Force review travel guidelines.

UPDATE AS OF JULY 7, 2021; 1PM

Cebu Pacific welcomes the decision of select provinces to accept fully vaccinated person with vaccination card as a travel requirement for interzonal and intrazonal movements.

To date, seven (7) destinations in Cebu Pacific’s widest domestic network are accepting vaccination card in lieu of RT-PCR test results, and these are Negros Occidental Province (except Bacolod City), Cauayan City, Cotabato, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, and Virac.

Cebu Pacific will comply with the health protocols set by the government, including RT-PCR test results, should it be required by the local government of our destination.
