Resumption of Clark-Siargao flights starting December 3

We are pleased to announce the resumption of PAL flights between Clark and Siargao beginning December 3, 2024.

The service will have convenient late morning and early afternoon departures, operating three times weekly, with scheduled timings as follows:

· PR 2875 Clark-Siargao every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departing Clark at 11:00 AM, arriving in Siargao at 01:05 PM

· PR 2876 Siargao-Clark every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departing Siargao at 01:35 PM, arriving in Clark at 03:40 PM

A global outage affecting Microsoft services has been confirmed by our partner, Navitaire. This outage is causing unexpected rebooting of machines, leading to some operational disruptions related to check-in processes, self check-in kiosks, and navigating the AirAsia MOVE app. Microsoft is currently investigating the issue and has escalated the matter internally while also seeking external assistance to manage the situation effectively.

Cebu Pacific advises its passengers that it is currently experiencing technical issues, reportedly related to technology provider CrowdStrike, which caused a global Microsoft system outage. This is a developing situation.

The Manila airport authorities have scheduled a series of electrical maintenance activities at NAIA Terminals 1 and 2 starting today, 06 February, until March 7, 2024 as part of an ongoing upgrade of the airport's electrical support systems.

The authorities are assuring passengers that it will be business as usual at the airport, i.e., the critical systems used for passenger processing will remain operational, and disruptions, if any, will be minimal.

The scheduled maintenance work is a unified strategy involving the airport authorities, utility providers and all stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted flight and passenger movement and minimize any impact on flight operations in both terminals.

TOPIC: AIRLINE TICKET REBOOKING

QUESTION: Bakit kailangan ko pa magbayad ulit sa pagpaparebook ng ticket and bakit mas mahal pa kesa sa binayaran ko sa ticket?
ANSWER: It's depends sa rules ng airlines and restrictions ng booking class ng ticket mo - you will be charged of the following: (must read)
a. Rebooking Penalty - it's also known as cancellation fee - some airlines allow free rebooking if the change will be done as early as 48 hours before original flight departure. Rebooking Penalty amount is fixed, for domestic flights its normally range from PHP1000 to PHP2000. (mahal talaga siya mga beshy ko and wala po kaming magagawa don na mga agent)

b. No Show Fee - this will be charged if you want to rebook the ticket on the day of your flight or after your flight departure time. Under the PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, the No Show Fee is PHP1500 pataas. Also, For CEBU PAC AND AIR ASIA, tickets are non refundable. So it's much better to purchase a new ticket.

c. Fare Difference - this will be charge if the original booking class is not available on your preferred rebooking date or if the booking class price got up or became regular price, specially if you booked the ticket on a promo rate.

COMPUTATION EXAMPLE:
Penalties and Additional Fees Applied
Rebooking Fee/Handling Fee: Php 1375.00/Pax
Fare Difference: Php 1000.00
TOTAL REBOOKING FEE: Php 2375.00/pax

TIPS: Be aware and be wise, if the rebooking fees is higher than purchasing a new ticket, then better to choose purchasing a new ticket. Think 🤔 and compute first before performing any changes in your booking.
