Inspired by the famous Community Pantries emerging from different parts of the country which was started by the Maginhawa Community, we also adapted it as “Kalinga Community Pantry” by Lakbay Kalinga.

This pandemic has brought us into difficult situations. But because of our sense of compassion, we ripple ideas like this to help ease the struggles of one another. We intensify our thanks to God and those who helped us by giving what we can put on these tables, so that those who are struggling will also withdraw what they need. This is our way of showing thanks to each and everyone in this time of pandemic.

As Albert Schweitzer said, “At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

***You may drop your donations to the said place from Monday to Sunday. Releasing of donations/items will be on Saturdays and Sundays only.

***Please observe minimum health protocols.

***Our Kalinga Community Pantry will start on April 24, 2021 (Saturday).
